Sony CSL – Paris and electronic artist DeLaurentis have collaborated to explore AI’s role in music and live performance. Over the past year, they have developed innovative tools, including AI-assisted composition & real-time interactive visuals called ‘Sinvocea’. Researcher Alain Riou contributed with PESTO, an AI-driven pitch estimation tool shaping live vocal interactions, while Alexis André designed generative visuals reacting to DeLaurentis’s voice. Sinvocea is a tailor-made project designed as a fleeting research experiment, unfolding over a series of live performances and culminating in this final music video with Sony Music France, for one last dialogue between human and machine. Sony CSL – Paris continues its mission of bridging AI research and real-world artistic applications.

Since 2020, DeLaurentis has collaborated with Embodme as an artist and ambassador for the ERAE expressive controller. Over two consecutive years, DeLaurentis represented Embodme at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles. In 2023, she performed on the Yamaha Grand Plaza Main Stage as part of the MIDI Association Concert, celebrating 40 years of MIDI
technology.
To celebrate the release of Push 3, DeLaurentis performed a standalone Ableton Push 3 set in Paris, at the top of the Butte Montmartre, featuring a cover of Venus as a Boy by Björk.

Musician, producer, composer and performer, DeLaurentis reflects on the emotional and creative bond between artists and their instruments. Through her electronic music performance, she presents technology as an extension of the human voice. This talk was given at a TEDx event independently organized by a local community.
